Sabine National Wildlife Refuge — Wetland Walkway
The Wetland Walkway is a short boardwalk loop built specifically for marsh and gator viewing, with interpretive signs along the way. Spring through fall gators bask right along the boardwalk edges, sometimes just a few feet below the rail. It's an easy, flat walk suitable for anyone, but the boardwalk rail is the only barrier between you and the water, so don't reach over it, and don't feed anything you see.
